Decided to get up and go for a walk in the frosty fog this morning, and I’m so glad I did. The urban wildlife put on a show only a short walk from my flat.

I later watched some dippers and a female goosander in Linn Park and when I got home I had four male and one female bullfinch at the feeder. They were competing with blue tits, a goldfinch and several chaffinch.
No one told nature winter is a quiet time.
