Glencoe

spring run
The clouds finally part on the last run of the day
Day 16 of Scottish season 14/15. I made an early start and was up the hill at Glencoe Mountain Resort before 9:00. During the week it had been snowing heavily. It had warmed up and the snow was wet and heavy. It was fun though. Main Basin was great but one of the best runs was Happy Valley, through the narrows, and then onto the wall. Spring run provided great sport too, but at the bottom I suffered a dead leg as someone collided into me from behind, jarring my knee in the process. I managed to ride this off however.

Conditions were warm and visibility poor as mist hung onto the top of the mountain. There is still a fantastic covering of snow and all runs are open bar Etive and Rannoch Glades.

Right at the end of the day at the top of the Spring Run the clouds finally parted for the final run of the day.
