A unique photography excursion around Glasgow
As part of Apple’s launch of ‘Today at Apple’, on Saturday 20th of May, VSCO and Apple are partnering with photographers around the world in a series of photowalks. They reached out to me and asked if I’d be willing to host the VSCo x Apple Glasgow Photowalk. As a long time iPhone and VSCO user I jumped at the chance.
What is a Photowalk?
Apple Photowalks with VSCO are unique outdoor photography excursions centred around a specific area. They are designed to foster a collaborative environment where people can learn photography through community led by local photographers such as myself.
This will be an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with VSCO on the iPhone and mobile photography in general.
No previous experience needed. Many skill levels will be present. This will be an opportunity to engage with like minded people and to ask questions. A chance to discuss techniques and creative processes from taking the shot to editing and publishing.
It’s an opportunity to explore in detail the fair city of Glasgow. As we all know, ‘People Make Glasgow’ and it’s also a city of architecture, art and humour. There should be no shortage of subjects to capture and share.
Where and when is the VSCo x Apple Glasgow Photowalk?
Join me on Saturday 20th of May. We’ll be meeting at the Buchanan Street Apple Store at 1pm, finishing up around 2:30pm. Sign up at: http://apple.co/2pS3ztH
If you know Glasgow at all, you also know the weather can be unpredictable. Jackets and umbrellas may be optional extras.
