The excitement slowly builds for Winter. For the first time in my all too many years of snowboarding Scotland’s ski areas, I’ve invested in a season pass. For those who may not be familiar with Scottish Winter weather, it’s a fickle beast. We need the storms to bring the snow, but often these bring warm maritime air from the Atlantic. Horizontal freezing rain is common. Light powdery snow, as rare as hens teeth. Buying a season pass in Scotland is a gamble. One I thought would be worth taking as I’ve had three great years in a row. Last year was only hampered by high winds and too much snow! I suppose we’ll have to wait and see. Wish me luck and I’ll try to update as to how this works out for me. Let there be snow!
