Getting my boards ready

Glencoe Mountain Resort has opened for a preliminery couple of days, promoting their new snow factory machine. The rest of the mountain is still waiting patiently, slowly filling with natural snow from the blustery westerlies.

Due to family priorities, I didn’t head north myself.  I’m waiting for the real stuff so set about this Sunday morning preparing my snowboards for the season to come. Fingers crossed we get some heavy winter storms and temperatures drop for some sustainable conditions in the lead up to the Christmas holidays, if not before. I’m doing my snow-dance, are you?
