Lockdown Mission No. 8

Blue skies and warm temperatures. Walked to mugs alley then snowshoed up Ski Tow Gulley.

I rested in the sunshine, taking in the summit glorious views, then down main basin, ate a porkpie then back to summit again. It was hot work in the sunshine, very sweaty but I was loving it.

I then hiked the summit path to Spring Run for the first time this season. The soft snow provided beautiful turns all the way back down to the top of the new Rankin’s lift.

I ended with a big smile on my face for the trek back down the hill.

Then it was back down the road for my first Covid vaccine.
